Depending on how you and/or your school have registered in netTrekker d.i., your home page will default to Elementary, Middle, or High. You may also change your home page in Preferences. See Preferences for more information on how to change any of your preferences.

You can also switch your context temporarily by clicking on any of the grade level tabs. Clicking on Home in the top right hand corner of your screen will return you to your default grade level.

Grade Level Tabs

The grade level tabs appear at the top of every netTrekker d.i. page.

Elementary designation is defined as grades kindergarten through five.

Middle designation is defined as grades six through eight.

High designation is defined as grades nine through twelve.

Clicking on a tab will change the context of netTrekker d.i. to one that provides suitable websites for the selected grades. For example, if you choose the Elementary tab, you will find brightly colored pages written in a larger, easier-to-read font. Subjects and the evaluated websites are geared toward kindergarten through fifth grade students. Teachers can also find lesson plans and materials for those grades. Likewise, choosing the Middle or High tabs will provide different views of netTrekker d.i., with resources and results geared to those grade levels.
